Born in Komani, Eastern Cape, Blxck X is such a versatile artist that have set foot on R&B, Soul and Hip Hop genres and excelled since 2018.

Blxck X released his debut single, Lonely in 2018 that is a soulful and such a sad song. His debut project, Numb EP which he dropped in 2019 as also a tribute to Jahseh is an R&B and Soul project. The project reveals X’s vulnerability, affection, and demons in an artistic form. The same project he sings and raps in so soulfully. His debut Hip Hop project or rather a playlist like it’s written, Lockdown: Quarantine Playlist tells itself what it is formally about. To break your small bubble, Lockdown: Quarantine Playlist was not a planned and well constructed project like Numb EP was.

Blxck X moved to join M.M.A group in 2020 where it’s him, Dr Idri$$ and Tony da Vinci. X has released a lot of music with the group including their hit single, Mike Tyson feat. Ka$hCPT. The list goes on and also dropped a Midnight EP and its deluxe last year with songs like Tra$h Talk, Big Drip, Bheki Cele to name a few. X haven’t cut ties with the group based on his last set of music.

X shook the whole Komani yesterday when we saw him having have scored such a huge feature. Him being an artist we have seen grow, made us congratulate X with much anticipation of new heights of his career. He did a big move worth celebrating by being featured on the country’s one of the best female mainstream emcees. I couldn’t reach X for questioning to hear his side of the story as to how he got the Stella feature and what’s next on his career.
