The Newvale Gqom/Sgubhu producers duo, DaTonic and Debziin whose real names are Phikolomzi Lutho Ntsabo and Simphiwe Nqobiso respectively are invading the Gqom scene by storm locally.
The two started doing music together in 2019 as collaborators. Their musical relationship grew and earlier this year, they decided to open a recording label, Double Dee Entertainment together after forming a group. Their signed artists are themselves as producers and two female vocalists, Liqhame and Athule.
The duo draws inspiration from K-Zin Isgebengu and Danger Shayumthetho because they distribute nothing but great quality music and got unique production. The duo wants to put the town on the map and food on the table. They said that there’s no producer they would specifically like to work with although they are available for anyone who would love to feature them. The duo never made it easy because the support comes from strangers and they had to keep it real and never forget about themselves.
DaTonic and Debziin dropped a smash hit titled Komani Anthem on the 20th of June 2021 and pushes the Revolution EP with this single. You can get the song here:
