Kendrick Lamar-inspired rapper, Rap Steeze uses his past experiences to curate his art uncut and this is his story.

Liyema Thole to everyone in close proximity with the guy and Rap Steez to a layman like me and yourself. He found unforgettable love with Hip Hop when he was only 11 and Black Boy Fly by Kendrick Lamar is the Genesis in his book, no religious puns intended. As someone bit by the bug of rap, someone would assume they rap right away when he could spit a verse or raise some bar, but he wasn’t lindt enough at the time. 2019, was the year Steez decided to unleash the steam and show us how far he can reach the cylinder, which he went on trial for a number of times.

I started to take rap seriously last year when I was doing my grade 12 in Kwa-Komani because there was a lot of things happening and my past was hunting me in my life so I decided to put everything on the paper and share it with people maybe there could be people who would relate too .

Charged with rap? 2021 it was and he has put in quite a great appeal to challenge his personal affairs that were at play. His 2022 three-track catalog is living proof. Sorrow., Patience., and Deep Thoughts are three emotional and thought-provoking tracks of his that are self-explanatory with a delivery an inch exceeding one’s standard expectations.

Steez is on project mode with the leading single coming out on 29 July as confirmed today on his Facebook page. The project is set to be released either next month or in September. He has unreleased songs with Wiz Ta Lifah and Le Ninho Febry, which are predicted to be potential features for his debut project. He added that music is not a promising occupation to secure financially wise. He’s applying to get a degree and get a decent job to support his primary family.
