It’s no secret that Ongeziwe Jacobs is a mad creative from customising clothes and sneakers, drawing, painting, graphic designing , face beat and currently, modelling.

Jacobs has been much seen on Facebook trends every time she posts a snap almost every time she posts this year. It has been no secret that almost every snap of hers contained a Photo Scamto label which supposedly rose eyebrows. Jacobs though have confirmed to be working with Olwethu Maplanka, Photo Scamto founder as a model and promoter. They started working when Maplanka acknowledged Jacob’s make up which is exceptionally fire. It is then after acknowledging her make up that she ended on Photo Scamto studios that made her score a partnership deal with the photography brand. The partnership goes beyond being great business partners as they are good friends too. As dedicated creatives, they put much effort with their creative ideas to grow the brand. The ignited melanin of Jacobs have always made her stand out in the modelling industry and it is highly controversial.

Jacobs displayed her ability to draw and paint on her socials last year which had her drawing a revolutionary drawing of #ZimbambweLivesMatter which was people’s favourite. Jacobs has been someone who find a window to look out of , be it in a paper , clothing or simply a technical device. It is then that with the advancement of times, we saw her editing skills beyond ‘just editing’ to ‘heavy graphics’. “When you do art, you gain a skill of vision. So you become a visionary and that’s me. I could look at a house and see a creative potential into it. With pictures, I combine pictures and put stickers in a creative way. So that’s basically what I do.” she said. Recently, Jacobs posted a Q&A on Facebook which had Thuso Tshangela (@thuso_tshangela) asking if she’d do anything that’s art related and her answer was sober as a judge “definitely”. Tshangela texted Jacobs to join his art exhibition where he’s working with Lunathi Mfanta (@lunathii_mfanta). The art exhibition though is still on its toddler stages and needs any kind of donation that can be found. If you absolutely know someone that can donate at an art exhibition, kindly follow these handles.

Outside of her beauty, Jacobs also face beats to make other females beautiful too. It has been something that won Maplanka’s heart to business and is definitely something to win her customer’s hearts although she is not getting rates due to her service because of accessibility barriers. Jacobs also confirmed that she would be a professional makeup artist in future although she doesn’t like to bother herself with different titles. She prefers herself as an “artist” because it doesn’t box her from jumping from any art form she might be interested in future. The name “Ongeziwe Jacobs” is for the books and so is magazines.
