Kwanda Mahlombe and Athule Konki continue to reign supreme in the national music competition.

Idols South Africa season 17 has been nothing short of being amazing for Komani residents. It was history making thing to witness three of the town’s own, Athule Konki, Kwanda Mahlombe and Mthetheleli Qoza getting their golden tickets. In our most anticipation, unfortunately, Qoza got eliminated on the first day of Theatre Week. We are now two man down with Mahlombe and Konki carrying the flag of Komani high straight to the top 30. The two will compete amongst 28 other contestants for the top 16 and top 10 spots, respectively. The upcoming week is set to bring more surprise for us.
