Azukise Sakhumzi Nyhiba is famously known as Dorc Koala and has won many hearts with his social media personality, fashion, and love for local clothing brands.

Koala discovered the name “Dorc Koala” through his early teenagehood memories, back in 2015 he was called a doctor by his friends, and he fused it with one of his favourite rappers’ second names, Koala, which comes from “Dee Koala”. He is naturally a person with a great personality, and the nest where people could nurse such greatness is through his friendships.

My friends are like family to me. We talk about everything, and whatever I do I always count on them, and they do that also. I always listen to them and I am not even a judgemental person. I think that the only thing that kills friendships is trying to compete with each other. In other friendships, people want to be outstanding alone but with my friends, we groom each other. I’ve got a good heart, and I’m always willing to help them because I have been taught how to take care of my loved ones at home.

With the new age generation trend in fashion, wearing branded commercial clothes, slangs, and baggy fits is the “IT” thing, and Koala is resonating with vintage clothing that ranges from formal clothing and Dyan drip. Mbasa Seti is the guy behind Koala’s menswear.

I always wanted to be those guys who rock formal everyday. The internet helps a lot, man, and I always Google search fits, and compare with what I have. My inspiration has to be my friend Mbasa Seti he always send me these crazy fits, and shares ideas with me.

Koala has rocked Blvck045 Clothing, MINT Clothing, and painting by Ongie Gxalaba. He has worked with MINT clothing before and is open to working with more for the sake of supporting his hometown’s hustlers. Something he would love for local clothing brands to fix with their nature of doing business is delivery. He stated that from his experience that one has to wait for their merch to get delivered which had been the case for a number of people complaining about local clothing brands.

Following a lot of assumptions people have held after suspicious acts Koala, and Zuqhame Mavaleliso threw at Facebookers, he blow everyone’s bubble. He confirmed that they are good friends, nothing much that their social engagement might have sparked. He added that he is no longer an item with Migcobo Sithole, sadly.
