The Ezibeleni originated creative, Thamsanqa Peyi, musically known as Ell Power Tee has been on the verge of building up himself as an artist and helping others too through his recording label.

Ell Power Tee is an independent producer, musician, and founder of Kitchen records. He has signed musicians like Toxic Jay, Jaylo45ACP, and SyeBeats. Not only had he opened doors for these particular artists but the community of Ezibeleni.

I think we both know that we don’t have many opportunities in Queenstown but we do have so much talent in the hood. I remember back in the days when I could not record music because I couldn’t afford studio fees but eventually I managed to buy my own equipment and started to do everything by myself. And now all that hardwork is speaking for itself. Honestly, that’s what triggered the label vison. The vison behind Kitchen Records is to create opportunities for the youngsters in my hood and great platform for them. I believe in the upcoming five years that Kitchen Records will be at a better place.

Ell records people for R50 and has provided pro-bono studio time for most struggling artists. He’s currently in East London and records people there too. He also opened up about the ongoing beef he has w/ Easy Dee after he (Easy Dee) posted on a Facebook page that Tee fakes Soul T Idyan. Tee replied back w/ a Happy Birthday song, and Easy Dee didn’t clap back. He is inspired by 25K for raps and Zoocci Coke Dope for production. He added that he’d love to work w/ Jimmy Backwoods, Four4 Max, Moose, Ivy, and Zcasm. He had hit up Moose for a feature but he didn’t reply back until now.

Tee dropped an unofficial remix of 25K & A-Reece’s Hustler’s Prayer on the 10th of March 2022 and generated over 1K views on YouTube within three weeks of release. He’s also promising a music video for the single he dropped last year, You Ain’t Doing No Shxt, produced by SyeBeats is dropping next month.
