It is no longer just a word of mouth that a Netflix special is being shot in Komani after an entertainment reporter, Phil Mphela revealed the lead characters.
Zolisa Xaluva, Enhle Mbali, and Unathi Platyi are no new faces to those fan of South African telenovelas. Xaluva is the most well-known amongst all and have been casted in number of national TV shows like Generations, Gomora, Hustle, Igazi, Rhythm City, The Queen, The Throne, Tsha Tsha, uGugu no Andile, and Zabalaza. Enhle Mbali’s popular goes back to Tshisa and had been featured on popular TV shows like Rockville, 7de Laan, My Family, and Those I Can’t Reach. Unathi Platyi is the least prominent with the SABC 2’s Keeping Score debut as Mbazo in 2017 and had been featured in Isidingo and Heist. The Netflix film they are the lead characters in is Kings of Queenstown, which most speculate to be a King of Joburg series sequel. Netflix hasn’t revealed much about the film regarding its description and it’s rumoured to be still shooting.
