You have been living under a rock if you had been missing Ondela Blom’s groundbreaking content.

Ondela Blom proved to be one of the must-watch content creators with her vintage clothing meeting the essence of today’s complex fashion market. For someone that has paid more than needed attention to Blom’s growth with digital content creation, she’s what can be referred to as the recreation of native culture in fashion. She is carrying the root of our native culture with her grandmother showing her ropes and removing her mask from the distortion of history present today. She has a walking library in her grandmother and it shows in her pride in her native language, isiXhosa. She is an obsessed student of isiXhosa as a language and culture and the theme of fashion runs through such vessel.

Blom is privileged to be surrounded by friends that are turned on by the craft she draws inspiration from. She started collaborating on shooting content with Aphiwe Baliso, who’s her closest friend. Othandekayo Kedama and Khanya Mbona chose to join the both of them overtime. Blom and Baliso co-direct the content that is to be captured on a particular day in collaborations, says her. She is a brand-friendly face and added that Blvck045, which has since this year moved to Cape Town is her typa brand that is relevant to her work. She concluded that she will be invested in digital content creation and runaway modelling until she kicks the bucket.
