In three groups of Buhle Bendalo 2022’s annual term, Miss Tiny, Teen, and Senior, Aqhamile Shwabalala is the reigning Queen of the pageant as a senior.

Miss Buhle Bendalo 2022 was hosted at Thobi Kula Indoor Sports Centre. The pageant was hosted by Aviwe Dano. The pageant’s founder, Unathi Debese said that she is happy with the improvement from last year’s event, which was her debut. She said that the donation helped since there were three groups competing, as mentioned above.

I reached out to Aqhamile about being crowned Queen and she had this to say:

“Owwww the crown is treating me so well I just can’t explain how I feel right now. Finally, I bagged a Queen title in Queenstown and it’s only a been day, but it feels like it’s been a long time having this crown. I’m just grateful, I wouldn’t have been a Queen today if Chumasande Somazembe wasn’t there for me. Wherever she is? I just wanna say ‘thank you’ to her.”
