Four4 Max released a debut version of the Route To Evil mixtape on 20 November 2020 via SoundCloud.

The second version of the mixtape, Route To Evil: Dark Edition was released on 13 January 2023 via all digital streaming platforms (DSPs). The mixtape’s concept is Four4 Max going through a spiritual journey that damps the notoriety of the money. For those who haven’t listened to the first version, the introduction of the tape, Niggaz Prayer, is a typical congregational opening where he is vulnerable about his personal stability and interpersonal relationships. The introduction solidifies the theme of the entire project, which is no different from the second version. The second and current version also acts as the deluxe with the latest version placed as disc 1 and the debut placed as disc 2. The deluxe is graced with Big Xhosa on Dandelion, Tony da Vinci on The Awakening, Ivy on Beat It Up, Blxck X on HOT SAWCE and Drip Cartel, Dxpebxi Psychedelic on Groupie Freestyle and Dxniel Fxrbes on Lewis Hamilton.
