If adapting was a human form, Figo Durain whose real name is Lutho Ndonga would be called by that name.

Durain has always been a Hip Hop fan from a young age but didn’t know that he could rap though. He was later in his life, last year. He was introduced to rap by his younger brother, Alulutho Ndonga whose stage name is Dxpebxi Psychedelic. Durain was amazed by rap music when he saw his brother nailing it and found himself interested too in doing this type of music. At the time though, he wasn’t good in rap. It took him time of writing over and over again to catch his own wave and the absence of a studio to record added value to his improvement as a rapper. Before he could find a studio to record, he’d rap his songs to random people and they’d always ask why he was not dropping music already.

Durain struggled months for a studio time until Saint Royalle heard him freestyle and offered him a place to record. The first song he recorded is the one that dropped last week Wednesday titled “Word” featuring Saint Royalle.

As far as “word” goes, I had told Saint that I’d pull up to record after he offered and I wanted my first song to be like a statement and actually showcase what I can do. I wrote my verse a day before I went to record the song and I’d asked Saint to prepare a verse cause I wanted to feature him and he did. And when we got to the stu, we just clicked and made the best outta that song.

Durain hopes for a better numbers and the best fan base. Otherwise, he will continue giving us music until everything is solid. If things work out as he planned in growing his follwership and fan base. We might get a project from him next year.
