Komani Hip Hop scene have been stretching legs ever since the year begun and this week was a no warmups session.

Savage T, Leo Brown, Jimmy Backwoods, & Golden Ivy (Facebook)

The Facebook streets might not be making s lot of noise concerning the current climate the town’s Hip Hop scene is at but all in all, it ends with progress on every set encounter. Savage T, Leo Brown and Jimmy Backwoods have moved to the city of gold, Johannesburg for the year and our prayers go higher for them to get those targeted spots. Golden Ivy, on the other side had blessed us with a soulful, rap record titled, “When I Die”.

Savage T dropped his anticipated single, G X N G featuring Curtis on Thursday. You can stream it here: https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/qneG3

Leo Brown is continuing to spread the word about his art and the next stop is Alex FM tomorrow at 8 a.m sharp. Make sure to tune in to the station by streaming on Alex FM app or to 89.1.

Jimmy Backwoods recently announced his move back to Braamfontein and it’s not been a month, and he’s been booked. Backwoods excitedly shared the news of his first gig for 2022 on his socials. Be there or be told if you’re that side tomorrow from 12 p.m to 6 p.m at the Plug City Pop Up.

With the current climate S.A Hip Hop is in, Golden Ivy couldn’t help but put himself on the shoes of the late Riky Rick, DJ Dimples, and DJ Citi Lyts. Although the song isn’t a direct translation of the hip hop heads’ deaths, Ivy vents about how he would like to be mourned when he dies.
