Jimmy Backwoods and Blxck X are the two most streamed Komani Hip Hop artists on SoundCloud.

Jimmy Backwoods and Blxck X known each other since 2018. The two have consistently had their names to high regard ever since X and Backwoods started from 2017 and 2019 respectively. The two rapper’s working relationship started in 2020, and had been developing since. They recently released WATERS and Deep 6 Freestyle together. Backwoods confirmed that they’re not a duo but are rather collaborating. X on the other side added that working with Backwoods is great because he(Jimmy) is someone he can compete with. Backwoods and X had their first gig of the year on Saturday, 19 March 2022 with Plug The City Pop Up, and on the 28th of this month they’re at Kitchener’s at Braamfontein.
