Sinazo Miranda Jimba and Murray Zulu have moved to Komani to start a recording studios and call out for all the local creatives.

I have had the privilege of speaking to the Tsomo originated, Sinazo Miranda Jimba about the new recording company, Sunset Brown Studios that is under Sunset Brown Holdings.

Sunset Brown Studios is a music production studio based in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. We are an indie creative community, an umbrella that provides creative solutions, ideas and promotes collaboration between like-minded creatives in the realms of art. We will be offering music recording services that will be the following, music recording; mixing and mastering; documentation of studio session; songwriting; digital artist; profile; press release; and electronic press kit.

Jimba had been living in Pretoria and thought her return to the Eastern Cape had to be impactful. She bowed hands w/ a friend and came out w/ the idea of creating a platform where local artists can consider themselves well-off w/ the resources at hand. She believes that one doesn’t necessarily have to leave the Eastern Cape/Queenstown to pursue music w/ the availability of the various digital platforms. She also added that as an artist herself, she knows the trials and challenges artists faces and lends a hand as an experienced artist.
