The Komani musical scene is growing strength to strength with new acts emerging, carrying unique traits.

Phantom started being a recording artist in 2020 from Kweila604 and VVS Monroe’s help with the studio. The two later introduced him to Prince Whyte, the owner of P-Media, which consistently offered him studio time. Saint Royalle and Trap Paris were amongst the group that was recruited by Prince Whyte. Phantom comes into a household where his father is a teacher, so education is promoted to an extreme level for him to one day wake up and decide to do music.
He doesn’t have a problem with me doing music but at first he did but told me as long as I’m still continuing with my studies we won’t have a problem but if ever I felt otherwise about schooling or music I should inform him first.
Regardless of how his father thinks about music, Phantom is set to pursue it as a career, and to drop this bomb, he’s also a ghost writer. Before y’all punch the names out of me, it is nothing controversial of yet. He wrote a couple songs for Ndinani Qoza, whose musically known as Naniie and whose music is uploaded to his SoundCloud account. Zoocci Coke Dope, Tory Lanez, and J. Cole are the artists he looks up to, he uses his music to vent. His recent mixtape, L.O.A.M has the same concept of venting.
Unlike most new artists, he’s not yet looking out to work with any artist. He also stated that he’d love to work with Zcasm, Jimmy Backwoods, and Snoxx Melodic in the near future.
