Mdantsane-bred pageantry model, Minogcobo Petse (17) represented East London exceptionally well in King Williams Town when she was crowned Queen at Miss Unolali event.
“I stand for each and everyone that was silenced and couldn’t voice out with any bad thing that was done to them be it it’s bullying, sexual harassment, or abuse above all. I stand for the ladies that are insecure and don’t believe in themselves, so that they know that we all began there but we figured out ways to become the best version of ourselves. And most importantly, I stand for every individual that is not confident with their skin and say to them each and everyone is perfect just they way they are.”
Minogcobo Petse is Nyameko High School former pupil, who matriculated this year. Miss Unolali that was hosted in King Williams Town at King Club was her first live pageant as a serial virtual pageant’s contestants. Having scooped the Queen crown in her first attempt contesting on a live stage doesn’t faze her dream of becoming Miss South Africa one day. She shared that her family is supportive of her dream of pursuing modelling as a career.
