Piwe Nocandor is an emerging female musician from Komani who started releasing music from Cape Town last year.

Piwe Nocandor started making music in June 2021 before she would release any music. 2022 is the year she had the chance to release any track of her own when she was in Cape Town. Initially, she was in Cape Town to find a school, which reached a dead end. In finding the alternative, she looked for a job, where she ended up being a casual worker. Unfortunately, she lost her job and became unemployed. With nothing left to give in Cape Town, she headed back home to craft her debut album. She released her debut single, Fafa! two months ago on SoundCloud featuring his cousin, Gunslinger.

When I asked Nocandor who would she love to be featured on her debut album, this is what she had to say:

“To honest with you. I tried so many, but it didn’t end well, so I am working on my own. If with who, it’s a secret for now but my plan is to open my own studio. To save my sisters and do better.”

When I further persisted to get the names of the artists that have not agreed to work with her, she refused to comment.
