Get Ahead College scholar and Ezibeleni based rapper, Blacknezz went from riding UK drill wave to pure raps.

Blacknezz is the rapper that is set to stand out and his craft shows. He is the first local artist to jump on U.K drill even before it became famous this side. He was viewed as that weird rapper as his sound wasn’t either trap that every rapper jumps at or pure rap that has been famous ever since birth of Hip Hop. Blacknezz is an artist that listens to everything Hip Hop and his jump to UK drill was influenced by the sound he listened ever since he did grade 6. Although his debut single, Bleed is accompanied by U.K drill sound. Blacknezz wasn’t doing a U.K drill song other than mixing flows on a track that’s categorised under Hip Hop/Rap.
To be honest, everybody has their own way of doing their music with Hip Hop here at Komani. They have their own authenticity in their music and that’s a good thingwith me. I always wanted to do something different from everyone else and I just wanted to show people my capabilities and what I have to offer in the hip hop industry. Not trying to be the littest nigga on the block buh showing people how great I could be.
Another funny fact is that Blacknezz is inspired by Kendrick Lamar which shows in his cold bars. The rap side in him stands out and his latest single, Rude King displays all that.

Rude King is Blacknezz’s fourth single following Bleed, Moses, and In And Out (Freestyle). Rude King is such a hardcore, yet soulful song. It talks deeply about detachment that comes with people who has great potential and passion and chooses his passion over any disturbances. He also talks deeply about how is he underrated and still chases his greatness crown. As his deep voice accommodates the tone of a rude king, the song is set for life with its significance. Blacknezz wishes to work with Leo Brown’s Stanley Park singer, Khanya. He really respects Khanya’s work ethic although have never talked about her about making any music together. Blacknezz confirmed to not have been signed under Cash Unit Records that’s owned by Lwazi GB. He is just lended a studio to work with as helping an artist do the work of distribution and production of tracks. Blacknezz confirmed to have been featured on some of the artist’s song he can’t disclose yet. He says that he can’t reveal much but there’s more music coming.
