With what Sibonisiwe Daweti started with just as a Facebook post translated to be an initiative that has transformed thousands of lives.

Confide To Heal, a philanthropic initiative focusing on betterment of those less privileged. The first ever task Confide To Heal led by Daweti did was a listening session via its social media platforms and physical contact with Daweti if what you wanted to weigh off your shoulders was as heavy as a rock. 2019 was undeniably the year mental health conversation was spread through dialogues on relevant social platforms by its pioneers and Daweti took advantage of the conversation to be an ear that’s open when you’re in your sorrows. Straight from all the professional help she seek for those who had worst cases, she gave birth to her second baby, Let’s give a girl a pad initiative. With her two babies, she fused them and created the best possible impact in Komani and beyond.

“Leadership Hub is based in Zimbabwe. Since I am an ambassador for Help A Girl Eastern Cape branch, the Help A Girl initiative does international workshops and has other branches in different parts of the world. I know some of other country’s ambassadors like Natasha from Nigeria, Sarah from the United Kingdom and Tracy from Zimbabwe. Tracy from Zimbabwe has an organisation outside of Help A Girl and it’s called Leadership Hub where she grooms future leaders. I was invited to a WhatsApp group chat to share my experience with my philanthropic work with some of her students. We have a solid relationship with Tracy and she’s now like a sister to me. She assists me when and where she can and I do too on her side.”

Today, Sboza’s initiative is turning two and what was the beautiful moment than to use the day to do her daily work but on a honourable scale. She distributed clothes and hosted a soup kitchen by shacks next to Mpendulo Primary School and it was a success. A success of carrying two children at her back for two years. A QUEEN!
